Swan Lake - Symphony of Lights Portland Theatre reviews
Average show. Could have been better.
Here is the revised review with some words switched and sentences rearranged:
"Swan Lake - Symphony of Lights is a great lyricist and a great guitar player. The mic on the bass drum was up way too much during his show at the Bradley Center, just like the last time I saw him. It drowned out the music. Even when he spoke to the crowd, everyone was turning to each other and asking "what did he say?" You think the guys running the sound board would be able to get at least HIS mic right. I mean, I LIKE loud music. I've seen the Stones, U2, Green Day, Pink Floyd, The Flaming Lips, Cheap Trick.....you name it. I've seen Rush at the Marcus Amphitheater twice. All of these bands' shows were extremely loud, but they were crisp and clear..........all fantastic shows!
I wish his new music is good, but he would have played more bluesy tunes. The Western influence is okay, and that's what he's into now, but I prefer his earlier style. Oh well............
Question. Does any of this get passed along to the act's management after these reviews are posted? What becomes of them? Just wondering."
